Business Insurance Package
A Business Insurance Package (often called a 'Business Pack') provides insurance cover for small to medium businesses in connection with their individual business activities.
A typical Business Package Insurance policy will include:
- Public and Products Liability Insurance Cover
- Protection for your businesses physical assets from fire, theft, accidental damage and malicious damage (within the limits of the prescribed policy wording).
- There should also be a list of separate optional covers within the policy. These optional covers provide you with the ability to tailor the policy specifically to the risks and exposures faced by your individual business without paying for cover you don't require.
Some Business Package Insurance policies also cover any motor vehicles that are primarily for business use.
Who needs a Business Insurance Package?
You should consider arranging a Business Package Insurance policy if:
- You are currently involved in a small to medium business
- You are planning to commence a new small to medium business
Important Tips
It is important that you advise your broker of all activities your business is involved in as there may be certain endorsements or exclusions in your policy that can affect the complete protection of your business.
Business Pack Insurance policies do not include Workers Compensation, a separate policy must be taken out.
