The tendering process is an important part of any business growth plan, which companies in the building and construction industry will surely be aware of.
When expressing interest for new work, both large and small-scale, it is important to have all company systems and administrative practices up to date, including business insurance policies.
The Victorian government announced yesterday (August 15) the contract award for one of the state’s largest housing projects - the $80 million New Norlane property development in Geelong.
State housing minister Wendy Lovell said the multimillion dollar project would boost accommodation options for Geelong residents, with the construction of 320 public and private dwellings.
Ms Lovell explained: “This project will revitalise Norlane, with a mix of public and affordable private housing, along with new local opportunities, jobs and investment.
"The $80 million project will include homes for private sale, with new homes well-suited to young families. A display village with some of the best value new homes in Geelong will be set up in Norlane."
Fourteen public dwellings have already been delivered, with the remaining houses to be built over the next three years.
