Term Life Plan


Term Life Plan offers the policy owner the choice of a Term Life benefit, a Permanent Disablement Stand Alone Benefit or both.

Term Life Benefit

This benefit provides:

  • A lump sum payable on death of the insured prior to their 100th birthday
  • A lump sum payable on the diagnosis of a terminal illness
  • Premium reductions for sums insured greater than $500,000
  • A choice of stepped or level premiums
  • Discounted premium rates for non-smokers and professional occupations
  • Complimentary interim accidental death cover up to $500,000
  • Optional benefits - Crisis Recovery, Crisis Recovery Buy Back, Female Crisis Assistance, Child's Recovery, Permanent Disablement, Waiver of Premium and Child's Guaranteed Insurability.

Entry Age - 11 years to 70 years next birthday

Expiry Date - Premiums and cover cease at the latest policy anniversary prior to the life insured's 100th birthday

Maximum sum insured - None (subject to financial underwriting)

Minimum Premium - $250 per annum per policy including the premium for all benefits chosen, the policy fee, any premium frequency charge and any stamp duty.

Permanent Disablement Stand Alone Benefit

  • Total and Permanent Disablement
  • Lump sum payment
  • Conversion to Loss of Independence at age 65
  • Benefit Indexation


This benefit provides:

  • A lump sum benefit on the total and permanent disablement of the life insured prior to their 65 th birthday
  • A choice of stepped or level premiums
  • Discounted premium rates for non-smokers
  • 3 Different definitions of 'total and permanent disablement' - dependent on the occupation category of the life insured.

Entry Age - 16 years to 60 years next birthday (occupation category AAA, AA, A and B) or 16 years to 55 years next birthday (occupation category C and D and 'home duties' definition)

Expiry Date - Premiums and cover cease at the latest policy anniversary prior to the life insured's 65 th birthday.

Maximum sum insured - $2,500,000 for occupation category AAA, AA and A, $2,000,000 for occupation category B, C and D, $500,000 for 'home duties' definition. These figures apply to the total sums insured with us and other insurers.

Minimum Premium - $250 per annum per policy including the premium for all benefits chosen, the policy fee, any premium frequency charge and any stamp duty.
