We are currently seeking a full time Junior Broker to join our Coverforce Partner broking team in Victoria.

About you

• Tier 1 or 2 in General Insurance Broking qualifications (preferred)
• Outstanding time management, organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Commercial and Domestic insurance product knowledge and experience in both broking and claims if possible
• Ability to interpret policy wordings, provide policy coverage advice and make comparisons between insurance products
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of WinBEAT and Sunrise would be an advantage
• Be driven, committed, enthusiastic and pro-active in progressing your knowledge skills and career development growth
• Team player qualities working towards a common goal
• Preferably previous experience in an insurance claims or related role, you will have full understanding of the claims process
• Recognise the benefit of providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

About the role

• Work with Senior Management and other Account Managers
• Liaise, negotiate and develop relationships with clients, underwriters, referral partners and colleagues
• Prepare and present renewal / new business presentation folders for clients
• Assist clients and underwriters with enquiries
• Processing of new business, renewals, endorsements, and all other processing as required
• Assist Account Managers with domestic and commercial quoting and have a good knowledge of all quoting platforms
• Receive and review insurance claims
• Responding to claims enquiries and liaising with multiple parties as required
• Maintain client files in a paperless office environment
• Creating and managing of invoices and debtors
